Episode 2 Ratings: Moving Up & Staying Low

After incredibly low ratings for the first episode of The Real World Portland, ratings remained low…but not quite as low.

According to TVByTheNumbers, The Real World was watched by 0.959 million overall viewers and received a 0.6 rating in the 18-49 demographic.

Not great, but an increase is always welcomed.

  1. It’s sad. The real world isn’t nearly what it used to be. I started watching SD2 and they lost me after a few episodes. St. Thomas I could barely get past the first one. ughh. They need to spice it up a bit make a new show, put older cast members back together to live (not a challenge). Rivals, ex lovers, ex friends. That would be interesting.

  2. Just as predicted…the ratings started low because of St. Thomas and they will go up cause this the best season since LV2. Especially since so many are exciting for Nia. Next week the ratings will be 1.1 viewers and 0.8 share for sure. Hopefully they will eventually get up to 1.5. I think we fault San Diego and St. Thomas alot which I agree with but San Diego was okay. I think coming after LV2 it seemed bad and I blame the producers for St. Thomas. Great location….bad house. They were stuck on Hassel and couldn’t explore and do some antics, couldn’t party as much, couldn’t interact with others and it became these 7 people who could have had potential to be shacked up on the island and all they could do was pair up among each other. The only one left was Brandon who turned out to just be a bust.
