After watching Free Agents you might have felt bad for people like Cara Maria, Laurel, or even Johnny Bananas who seemed to appear in a lot of elimination rounds. While these vets spent the season fighting for survival, there were others who seems to slide under the radar.
Let’s check out the Challengers throughout history who have done a stellar job of avoiding elimination.
Jenn was picked on as a rookie, being thrown into multiple Infernos and Duels. After that, the eliminations seemed to stop. She was never voted into an Exile on Fresh Meat 2 (though poor performance sent her into one) and completed avoided elimination on Cutthroat and Rivals. Some people cried foul because she avoided eliminations, but Jenn claimed that she didn’t have to go in because she was a veteran.
When Rachel went into The Dome on Battle of the Exes, fans were shocked. Prior to this season she had been so good at avoiding elimination! On The Gauntlet 1 and The Inferno 2 there wasn’t a peep about sending Rachel in. On The Duel 2 she beasted her way through competitions without seeing elimination.
Veteran Road Rule Mark found himself in a similar situation to Rachel on Battle of the Exes when he saw his first elimination. Prior to this, he flew under the radar on The Gauntlet 2 and The Duel 2 by avoiding every single elimination.
I don’t know how she does it. Really, I don’t. On Battle of the Seasons she was in one elimination, but her competitor quit and Devyn got an easy win. On Free Agents she was the luckiest girl in the world, flipping black card after blank card until she marched her way to the end without battling in an elimination.
The original Duel winner managed to make it to the final and was the only person on the entire cast that didn’t go into elimination. Additional, she flew to the end of The Gauntlet 2 without having to battle in a Gauntlet.
