2015 will be an exciting time for Real World & Challenge fans, especially on Tuesday nights. MTV announced the premier date for Battle of the Exes 2 today and it will air alongside Real World: Skeletons on Tuesdays.
The official premier date is January 6th at 11 PM. Last season the Challenge aired on Thursdays after moving to the timeslot from Wednesdays where it had been for many seasons. This is also the first time The Challenge will be airing later than 10 PM.
MTV also stated that this season will be dedicated to Diem and Knight who passed away in November. They did not elaborate as to what that means, so your guess is as good as mine. It could mean they’re deliberately reediting some of the footage to portray the two in a positive light, or it could be something cute they’re saying so they can air the season without feeling guilty.
Also, they will be airing a memorial for Diem title We ❤ Diem on December 9th at 9 PM (8 central).
