Melinda has found a home on MTV for years, and with all the love and support her appearances have generated, she was bound to get some unwanted attention. However, the extent of her unwanted attention is far outside the range of normal. Melinda has been receiving threatening messages a 25-year old woman from Grand Rapids, Michigan.
According to a news report, Melinda received threatening and profane e-mails and calls from the woman. The messages have also appeared at the dentist office where Melinda works. Local police have also received threats from the woman.
Wishing the best for Melinda, and I hope she remains safe. The woman is receiving felony charges of stalking and carries a maximum penalty of 3 and a half years in prison.
