Rivals 3: Top Moments from Episode 2

An episode of The Challenge that has no challenge.

1. Winner Dinner

After winning the first challenge, Vince and Jenna get a dinner as the first power team. Despite her excitement from winning, Jenna is a little creeped out because she has to share dinner with Vince. So rather than talk, they get straight to business. The call down Nate and Christina, only to tell them they’re safe. Vince does this because he believes they’ll be a “lay-up” later on. Then they call down Briana and Brandon, and they are selected to go into the first Jungle. They’re pissed, but they believe their fate is sealed. But is it really sealed?

2. Love And Letting Go

Jessica and Tony continue flirting, and as usual, Jessica feels they are in a committed relationship because Tony pays her one compliment. Tony then gets drunk and lies in Jessica’s bed wanting to hook up, but she turns him down. The next morning, Tony tells everyone he was so drunk he shit in the bed and can’t remember if they had sex (Jessica says they didn’t). Jessica spends the morning calling her boyfriend to break up.

3. Leeving

Last week, Leroy complained about a pinched never in his back. This week, he starts off by going to the doctor and get a shot to help alleviate the pain. It doesn’t work, so he returns to the doctor only to be told his cannot continue in this competition. Because of this, he gets the boot and brings Averey with him.

4. Second Chances

Vince and Jenna nominated Brandon and Brianna to get into The Jungle, but TJ shocks the cast when he tells the power team to nominate a second duo. Surprised, Jenna suggest Devin and Cheyenne with the logic that both are from Are You the One. At the Jungle, Johnny and Jessica’s fate is sealed because they lost the challenge. The other teams draw skulls from a box, and whomever picks the black skull competes against the losing team. By default, Devin gets the black skull so he and Cheyenne will be competing against Johnny and Jessica.

5. Back to Back

The first Jungle is called Back it Up and requires teams to shimmy up a wall to places a pot in a basket. First team to accomplish this three times wins. Johnny’s biggest fears start to come true when Devin and Cheyenne get their first pot in the basket before he does it with Jessica. Luckily, Cheyenne exhausted herself on the first climb and Jessica and Johnny are able to catch up and get the win, successfully giving Jessica her first elimination win!
