The cast is leaving for Argentina, but only four teams can make it. Who won’t catch the flight?
1. Zaching Off
Being in Mexico away from family can be tough, and Jenna has been struggling the whole season to keep in touch with her boyfriend Zach. Communication has been choppy, and he even answered the phone and called her “Brooke.” Now, he claims he hasn’t gotten her e-mails and seems frustrated on the phone. Jenna is fed up, and feels her relationship is on the rocks but she’s stuck in Mexico. Sarah consoles her, but her head isn’t really in the game.
2. Two Peas in a Poncho
This week’s challenge is called Bridging the Gap and teams have to complete easy tasks to unlock planks of to a bridge, then arrange the planks in order to cross the bridge. The tasks are: braiding ropes, jumping rope 30 times, and untying knots. The catch… teams are bound together in a poncho so each player only has one had and the teams must move in unison. Despite Wes & Nany (prior Jungle winners) giving Bananas and Vince’s teams disadvantages, Bananas & Sarah win because Sarah does all of these tasks one-handed for fun anyways. Dario & Nicole come in last, and are sent straight to the Jungle.
3. Family Feud
Unsurprisingly, Bananas & Sarah chose to keep Vince & Jenna safe. Wes & Nany and Devin & Cheyenne are picking skulls, and Wes draws the black one. This means, Nicole and Nany must face each other. The game is called Tunnel Vision and it’s a race through a small tunnel like mice. Teams start at opposing ends, and at some point they cross paths. Surprisingly, Dario has a lot of experience crawling through tunnels, so he is able to give his team the boost they need to win. Wes & Nany are sent to the USA, but no one is staying in Mexico.
4. Adios Mexico
The cast is out of Mexico! We’re at the point in the game where shit gets real and the cast is going to a new location. The four remaining teams are going to Argentina, and no one knows what awaits.
5. Vinny Pig’s Return
Bananas and VInny find humor in calling Cheyenne “Chantal,” and this angers her because she thinks it’s a trashy, generic black-girl name. They continue to pick on her throughout the night, and Vince doesn’t stop calling her the wrong name is telling her she doesn’t deserve to be in the game. Cheyenne breaks down, as this reminds her of being teased in school. She finally lashes out at Vince and says she wants to go home. Will she leave? Find out next week!
