Sad news for old school Road Rules fans. Brian Lancaster who appeared on the seventh season of the show passed away late last week at 43. While no official cause of dead has been released, it is believed to have been caused by heart failure and Brian had a history of arrhythmia.
Brian’s original Road Rules season premiered in 1999, and though he never competed on any subsequent Challenges he did hold a number of fulfilling careers. His family notes his work ranged from account manager to special education teacher to bartender. Brian completed his Road Rules season and took home the handsome reward: a Volkswagen Beatle.
Brian is survived by both his parents and his fiancee Sarah. He will always be remembered for his contribution to Road Rules and helping to pave the way for future seasons.
