The fifth episode of The Challenge: All Stars has wrapped. Here are all the old school moments New School fans would need to know. If you want to know everything that happened, just stream the show on Paramount+.
- Mini-Final

This week, TJ announces we’re having the “mini final.” These types of challenges are staples on the show, but they seemingly began on Battle of the Seasons in 2012 with Logged Out. This time we’re playing Connect Em All which has math, memorization, and lots of heavy carrying.
2. Eric & Katie

At the puzzle/ memory checkpoint, we see Katie working with Eric. This is a throwback to Fresh Meat when the two were partners.
3. Loser Goes In

Old school fans will be happy to see this change. Syrus & Beth came in last, and TJ announces a shift in the formatting. The loser will need to go into elimination. Syrus is on the hook this time, and he wants to face Alton (for some ungodly reason). This is a practice we first saw on Rivals in 2011.
4. Alton and Jisela

This week, Alton and Jisela end up hooking up. It’s weird, because they’re complete strangers even though they did Gauntlet 2 together. However, Jisela left early that season, so she might not have been too focused on Rookie boys.
5. The Losing Pair

TJ surprises the cast. Now, we’re going to have two people leave each week. This means Beth is paired with Syrus in elimination. Alton gets to pick his partner. He picked Aneesa, an elimination beast he competed with on The Gauntlet 2 and The Inferno 3.
6. Aneesa vs. Beth

We finally see Aneesa vs. Beth in elimination. On The Gauntlet 2, Beth refused to compete in Beach Brawl and viewers never saw the two battle. This makes up for the lost elimination.
7. Human Climbing

In Up and Over females need to punch through walls while the males climb over. Syrus uses Beth’s body for support. This is is reminiscent of when Syrus climbed on Coral’s head during the Fallen Angels mission on The Inferno.
