Kyle Christie Hasn’t Been Back on The Challenge Due to Abuse Allegations

Rumor has it the UK cast member's actions will be discussed on season 40.

After a three-season absence, Challenge fans have been wondering where Kyle Christie has been. The Geordie Shore star made his debut on Vendettas in 2017 as part of the inaugural class of UK transplants and did seven consecutive seasons.

According to spoiler account Gamer, Kyle hasn’t been on the cast because of allegations that he was abusive to female cast members on the show — particularly Cara Maria. Following these accusations, production hasn’t invited him to return as they investigate the claims.

Many fans surmised that Kyle’s absence on Ride or Dies was due to his involvement with Geordie Shore season 23, but he would have been a great candidate for Battle for a New Champion and Season 40.

More details on these allegations are expected to be revealed in the coming weeks, but the claims are surfacing because Cara Maria supposedly talks about them during Season 40.

Apparently, the duct tape incident on War of the Worlds — where three male cast members wrapped Amanda in tape as a joke — was cited as a piece of evidence.

While nothing is confirmed, some fans have questioned why Kyle was ever brought onto the US version of The Challenge. During his season of Geordie Shore, he has a tumultuous relationship with cast mate Holly Hagan, who later discussed his emotionally abusive tendencies. However, she has also revealed that production played significant roles in subjecting her to compromising situations.
