It’s been a while since Georgia Harrison appeared on the Challenge, but she’s been through a lot since we last saw her on War of the Worlds 2. The British star was in a legal case with Stephen Bear, which resulted in Bear going to jail.
Since that case, she has resumed a somewhat regular life (by her standards), and she appeared on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins. The show was filmed in 2023 and aired in 2024. Spoiler: Georgia did quite well and won the season.
During the show, while talking with one of the agents, Georgia said that Bear wanted to utterly ruin her life, and it led to a two-year legal battle.
While Georgia was dealing with the public backlash and legal proceedings from her case with Bear, she endured two losses. She said she lost a close friend and an ex-boyfriend, referring to childhood friend Cenk Fahri, who died of leukemia in 2021, and The Only Way is Essex star Jake McLean, who died in a car accident in 2022.
Georgia felt like she never really had the opportunity to grieve the two losses. It felt like every time she was recovering, another traumatic event would happen.
Fortunately, she felt like she emerged from the situation with some optimism. The outcome of her court case with Bear helped to change revenge porn laws in the UK. Still, this was emotionally taxing, and it was one of the reasons she appeared on the reality show. It gave her a break and helped her move on after her challenging few years.
