Years after news of Bear leaking a sex tape with Georgia Harrison (another former-Challenge star), the trial went to court. On December 13, 2022, the 12-person jury unanimously found him guilty of distributing private, sexual photographs and films with the intent of causing distress. The majority of jurors also found Bear guilty of voyeurism.
Georgia waived her anonymity during this case and publicly spoke out against Bear. She claimed she didn’t know she was being filmed, but told Bear not to share the footage when she learned she was captured on CCTV. He uploaded it to his OnlyFans.
After the verdict, Bear stated he was innocent and claimed her was fighting a losing battle — he never had a chance!
For now, the judge bailed Bear out, but he will be sentenced on January 31, 2023. For his offenses, he could find himself serving up to two years behind bars. He will also be legally recognized as a sex offender.
Georgia stated she feels empowered by the decision, and is appreciative of the support she received, but also admitted she had been humiliated over the past two years due to the distribution of this material.
