Nicole Zanatta Gives Birth to Twin Girls

Nicole has two new additions, and she's using their brith to spread awareness.

Real World: Skeletons alumna Nicole Zanatta is officially a mother! The 4-season Challenge finalist welcomed twin girls, Seraphina and Madyson, on May 1.

Nicole shared that the early days have been difficult. The girls were diagnosed with congenital cytomegalovirus (CMV) at birth. They spent time in the NICU, but Nicole was able to bring them home a week ago. While they’re currently receiving medication, the girls will continue to have appointments and receive treatment to manage their illness.

Nicole shared this journey because June is CMV awareness month. When she got pregnant, she was unaware of the virus. In retrospect, she wishes she had more knowledge.

Now that the girls are resting at home, Nicole is choosing to be optimistic. While the diagnosis was an unexpected challenge for her, she also shared that she had difficulties getting pregnant. She persevered, and now, her daughters are here.

There’s also a happy tradition that continues with the birth of the twin girls. Nicole is a triplet, and now, she’s given birth to multiples. Her daughters will always have a best friend — just like Nicole had her sisters.

Nicole is definitely a tough person, so there’s no doubt she will give her daughters everything they need. There may be some unexpected health challenges at first, but work to ensure the girls have the best lives possible. Wishing luck and happiness to the expanded Zanatta family.
