Earlier this year, Beth and Jon opened an old wound when they spoke with Davis on their podcast. They discussed the infamous Inferno 3 punch, the one that wasn’t captured on camera. In the interview, Davis shared his side of the story, which largely aligned with the narrative shown on The Inferno 3.
Later, the RW: Los Angeles roommates caught up with CT, and he shared his side of the story. This was a little bit different than Davis’ recollection. When CT told his story, he implied Davis was hitting on him and tried to minimize the punch itself.
Recently, Davis appeared on another podcast, this time, the Zach Nichols Podcast. Once again, he told his side of the story — with a couple of new details. Davis remembered everyone in the Inferno 3 house shaking his hand and introducing themselves, but CT noticeably did not. It seemed like CT didn’t like him, but CT was also drinking whiskey straight from the bottle.
Regardless of the reasons, the feud has come to a close. CT and Davis have reconciled.

Davis shared a post on Instagram where he revealed he had a 2-hour conversation with CT that was “so God ordained.” This language was likely included because Davis has notably dived deeper into his faith this year.
It’s implied that CT apologized to Davis, because Davis said he forgave CT. He also shared love for the multi-season champ and apologized for any pain CT experienced that arose from the incident.
This isn’t super surprising, because the two have moved on. They both appeared on The Duel 2 and Rivals, where CT showed growth by only punching Adam, not Davis.
It is nice to get some closure, especially because nostalgia-based Challenge podcasts have reignited the conversation. This moment wasn’t a highlight for Davis or CT, but it seems something good has grown from the incident, and a new friendship has blossomed.
