Real World: Denver alumni Davis Mallory has been full of surprises recently. The reality star-turned musician- turned worship leader has gone public with his new girlfriend, a woman named Rachel Vaughan.
Davis launched the relationship on Instagram with a post captioned, “It’s crazy what love can do.” He received support from many other Real World and Challenge alum, including Derrick Kosinski and his former roommate Brooke.
This announcement comes nearly a year after Davis said he was led away from the gay lifestyle. At the time, he did not discuss any relationships, and it seemed like he was devoting his time to God. But based on the Instagram comments, it doesn’t appear his relationship with Rachel is new.
In recent months, Davis has also appeared on some Challenge podcasts. Most notably, he spoke about the Inferno 3 punch and received an apology from CT (which was only offered after Davis revealed he wasn’t gay).
This is certainly an unexpected turn of events, but Davis appears to be quite happy. Sadly, it doesn’t seem like The Real World: Homecoming will be returning any time soon, because this would be a very interesting plot to explore.
But you never know. Davis has expressed interest in an All Stars season, so we might hear more about his story if he returns for that show.
