Dee has made her Big Brother debut, making her the first reality TV contestant to appear on Survivor, The Challenge, and Big Brother. She’s certainly not the first person to appear on multiple reality shows, but she’s done most of the longest-standing American reality series.
If she does The Amazing Race, she will become a SCAB.
What’s a SCAB? It’s a term I made up to describe someone who’s appeared on Survivor, The Challenge, The Amazing Race, and Big Brother — the four reality TV competition shows that have been on the air for 25+ years. Basically, it’s an EGOT for a reality star.
And while Dee is close to joining the club, she’s not the only one who’s one step away.
Dee Valladeres
As mentioned, Dee just needs to do The Amazing Race to be a SCAB. But, it’s impressive to see that she’s made appearances on three different shows in a 12-month period.
Victor Arroyo
Victor was one of the first Big Brother contestants to appear on The Challenge, and he was the first person to appears on three of the four major reality shows. Victor competed on The Amazing Race 31 in 2019.
Natalie Anderson
Natalie achieved her third pillar when she appeared on The Challenge: Double Agents in 2020. It was an unsuccessful run because she got disqualified early into the season, but it still counts as a Challenge appearance. Natalie first debuted on The Amazing Race and has done two seasons; she also appeared on two Survivor seasons and won one of them. She is the only person who needs a Big Brother appearance to become a SCAB.
Natalie Negrotti
It took Natalie nearly a decade to make appearances on three different shows, but she’s still building her reality TV career. She debuted on Big Brother 18 in 2016 and was part of the inaugural Big Brother class to appear on the Challenge. In 2025, she landed a spot on The Amazing Race, proving she’s still invested in reality TV after a nearly 6-year break.
Kyland Young
Kyland quickly made his rounds on reality TV. He debuted on Big Brother in 2021 and did three Challenge appearances in 2022, 2023, and 2024. Then, he jumped over to The Amazing Race in 2025. This means he’s averaging one show per year, but as of now, his career is on hiatus in 2026.
Derek Xiao & Enzo Palumbo
These two appeared on The Challenge: USA 1, meaning they’ve technically done The Challenge, but there will always be an asterisk next to this appearance because it was a spinoff season. Both of these competitors were decent Big Brother players, but their Amazing Race appearances were very different: Enzo was the first person eliminated, and Derek won his season.
Who Will Be the First SCAB?
If I had to guess, Dee is most likely to get the title. Why? Very few people have done Big Brother and Survivor, but she’s managed this. Her only gap is The Amazing Race, and statistically, it’s easier to appear on than Survivor and Big Brother. Plus, The Amazing Race just had an all-Big Brother season, so an all-Survivor season seems like a natural progression.
If not Dee, Derek is likely the next contender. He’s still relevant in the reality TV world and is known as a logical and strategic player. This could make him a strong contender for a Survivor appearance if the opportunity presents itself to Big Brother contestants.
