This week a saw a line drawn in the sand. On one side was have teams: San Diego, Las Vegas, New Orleans, and Cancun. On the other, we have: Brooklyn and Fresh Meat. Austin was on this side, but they’re now gone.
And then there was St. Thomas. Without an alliance, do they stand a chance?
Rather than beat around the bush, I’ll just give my answer to the initial question now. NO! St. Thomas should not pick a side…at least not yet. Why? Because whichever alliance has power will send members from the other alliance into The Arena. Until one alliance is completely shattered, St. Thomas can sit in the middle and watch the two alliances eat each other.
If St. Thomas sided with San Diego/Vegas/Cancun/New Orleans they would be at the bottom of the totem pole. This means that once the alliance is forced to nominate its own members into The Arena, St. Thomas will be the first voted in.
Siding with Brooklyn/Fresh Meat wouldn’t be as bad. If these 3 teams were the only 3 in the final, they’d all be making money. But this is also the weaker of the 2 alliances and they’re unlikely to make it to the end in tact.
Will St. Thomas pick a side? Maybe we’ll find out on Wednesday.
