Challenge: All Stars

The Challenge All Stars: Episode 7 Old School Overview

My old school take on the All Stars season: episode 7.

Can you believe it? The end is near. Here are all the old school moments New School fans would need to know. If you want to know everything that happened, just stream the show on Paramount+.

  1. Victory Is Sweet

We open the episode with Mark talking about the joys of winning an elimination. When he won last week, it was his first win ever! In fact, he’s only done one prior elimination: X-Battle with Johnny and Camila on Exes 1.

2. Aneesa and Jisela

Jisela and Aneesa have been friends for nearly a decade. They met on Battle of the Sexes in 2002 and reunited on The Gauntlet 2 in 2005. They’re also quite close off of the show. A few years ago, they did an Instagram Live together. Jisela said she’d only return to the show if Aneesa was there. Now they’re together again!

3. Katie’s Gameplay

Rib Cage Pass is one of the challenges we see on a semi-truck. This environment is now a staple of the show, but it debuted on Battle of the Sexes 2 with the Semi-Cross challenge. Most recently, we saw the Road Kill challenge on Double Agents.

4. Aneesa’s Final

To be honest, Aneesa takes an odd approach to avoid elimination. She threatens to sit on the sidelines and not participate if a male chooses her to be his partner in the Arena. Aneesa does have a long history of doing poorly in eliminations near the final, but she’s never made this type of threat. She lost right before the final on seasons like The Duel, The Inferno 3, Rivals 2, and Bloodlines. Of course, she has this conversation with Derrick. He’s also had this curse and couldn’t win until he overcame it on The Inferno 3.

5. Jisela’s World

Jisela has this odd criteria for choosing an elimination opponent. She doesn’t want Derrick or any prior elimination winner. So, she narrows the candidate pool to Darrell or Yes. Meanwhile, Big Easy is toying with the idea of Nehemiah. Throughout history we’ve seen a lot of people sent into elimination for a variety of reasons. While Jisela isn’t wrong to make a decision she feels is “fair,” other people will play the game differently.

6. Duel Do Over

Big Easy reminds Nehemiah he’s lost to him before on The Duel. Easy didn’t lie, but we all know I Can is one of the most unfair eliminations ever. Eric only won because the equipment couldn’t hold any more weight. Fun fact, Eric is the only male from The Duel who has never won Challenge by this point in time.

7. Friends Torn

At the deliberation, Aneesa defied Jisela and sent in Nehemiah. Aneesa insists has barely every crossed anyone on the show, but being nice has never let her win. Sadly, Jisela seems willing to throw away their friendships because Aneesa’s vote didn’t follow her rules.

8. Ring to Ring

The elimination is named Ring Cling, and it’s a new one. Competitors need to work together to remove chains and rings from a tall pole. Then, they need to use the materials to make a ladder and ring a bell. This time, Eric seems to work nimbly and make a ladder with a less obvious approach. He was the underdog, but he narrowly beat Nehemiah and Kendal. So, he beats Nehemiah for a second time and this time we can’t criticize the rules of the elimination.
