Last week, ratings flew up. What’s the next step for the show?
Episode 12 received 551,000 viewers and a 0.23 rating in the 18-49 demographic. It was the 6th highest-rated cable show of the evening.
This was a hard hit for the show, losing 112,000 viewers compared to last week. Of course, last week’s viewership was exceptionally high, and this episode is still in the better half of the season’s episodes. However, it’s discouraging to see all of the momentum gained last week has been lost.
Per usual, The Challenge remains MTV’s most popular show, surpassing the week’s second most-viewed episode (Teen Mom Reunion) but hundreds of thousands of viewers.
