Last week, ratings crashed down after episode 11‘s spike. How were things this week?
Episode 14 received 558,000 viewers and a 0.25 rating in the 18-49 demographic. It was the 4th highest-rated cable show of the evening.
This is a jump of 37,000 viewers from last week, but the 18-49 rating stayed flat. This is a move in the right direction, and puts the episode as one with above-average viewership.
However, The Challenge is no longer MTV’s most-watched show. On Friday, episodes 1 & 2 of RuPaul’s Drag Race received 752,000 & 698,000 viewers respectively. Perhaps the small bump in viewership on The Challenge is due to commercials being advertised to new viewers.
