Another Challenge alumni has joined another reality show. Two-time Champion Mike ‘The Miz’ Mizanin will be on the 30th season of Dancing With the Stars according to reports. While Mike has gone on to have a very successful wrestling career, he got his beginning on MTV. In 2001, he appeared on The Real World: Back to New York. He then did five Challenge seasons and won Battle of the Seasons as well as The Inferno 2.

While Mike retired from the competitions, he never forgot about his roots. He has become a fan of The Challenge and a host on multiple occasions. He has hosted Challenge reunions and the Champs vs. Stars spinoffs.
Outside of MTV, Mike is best known for his successes in WWE. Even his wrestling career began on the reality show Tough Enough. During this time, he won multiple championship belt, an accolade he fantasized about on The Real World. He would then star on the USA television show Miz & Mrs and become the host of the network’s gameshow Cannonball.
Mike stays busy, and his athletic background might make him a strong contender for Dancing with the Stars. He has a strong personality, which generally connects with his audience. Perhaps this has attributed to his success over the past two decades.
Mike was only eliminated from one Challenge season: Battle of the Sexes 2. His competitive nature should motivate him to see the finale of Dancing with the Stars. However, he is the second Real World alumnus to compete on Dancing with the Stars. Karamo Brown placed 8th on season 28 of the show. Surviving longer than Karamo would make Mike the more successful Real Worlder.
