Episode 4 of The Challenge: Cutthroat featured a smorgasbord of crushes. One surprising pairing came when Anna Leigh took a liking to Leo.
On the surface, this seemed like a run-of-the-mill Challenge romance, but there was an issue: Anna Leigh is married. She claims this put a stop to the romantic pursuit, and the cameras don’t tell a different story — but they also don’t support Anna Leigh’s claim.
During the episode — and shared by the official Challenge Instagram account — Anna Leigh and Leo can be seen talking about a fantasy life that they’re spending together. Eventually, Anna Leigh admits she’s horny AF, and Leo concurs.
Anna Leigh shared a long story in the caption, admitting that she made a mistake. But she insisted nothing physical happened, and she confessed to her husband as soon as she was able. She also said she and her husband are working through this incident, and she remains committed to that relationship.
Some viewers showed Anna Leigh grace, and others called her a cheater. Then, Lete slipped into the comments to add fuel to the fire.
Lete claims that Anna Leigh is “rewriting history” by saying she stayed away from Leo. According to Lete, the two didn’t stay away from each other after their flirty, boozy night. They were spotted in the bathroom together two days later. And Leo has confirmed that they were in the bathroom. However, they were just trying to grab cards, which is apparently a two-person job. He also said Cara Maria was in the room, too.
While Anna Leigh maintains she’s working on her relationship with her husband, it seems trust has been rebuilt. A couple weeks ago, Anna Leigh shared photos partying with other Challengers in Miami.
Admittedly, this was Johnny Bananas’ premier party, so many cast members were there. Leo and Anna Leigh were two of more than a dozen notable names, and there’s no reason to believe any boundaries were explicitly crossed during this get-together.
Cara Maria Chimes In
Anna Leigh’s Blue Team friend (and apparent bathroom buddy), Cara Maria, left some comments on the Instagram video posted by the Challenge account. Instead of focusing on Anna Leigh or Leo, she directed attention to Anna Leigh’s husband, who was left at home to tend to their farm.
And where there’s Cara Maria, Paulie is likely to follow. A Challenge fan shared Cara Maria’s IG comment on Twitter, and Paulie responded: I think she might want to sit this one out if I’m being honest 🤷🏼♂️😂
Most likely, this refers to Bloodlines — or maybe that Paulie began his relationship with Cara Maria amid a cheating scandal. And these are just the incidents we know; it’s possible this rabbit hole could go deeper, but that’ll be a story for a different post (if it ever happens).
