Challenge: Double Agents

The Challenge Spies, Lies and Allies Challenger Stats & Info

An analysis of every Double Agents competitor, highlighting their prior successes and failures.

I’ve done this with prior seasons, so now I’m going to be taking a look at stats for the players on Double Agents. For this list, I can only really look at the returners with prior Challenge experience. The newcomers will have a brief bio based upon their prior experiences what we know about them. Many of them have no comparable experiences, but they might have experiences making them capable competitors.

Here are some guidelines to remember:

  1. Eliminations are counted as appearances in an elimination arena (The Jungle, The Gauntlet, The Dome, The Proving Ground, etc.).
  2. Elimination wins and losses from Battle of the Bloodlines only count if the competitor was actually competing in The Pit.
  3. If the elimination did not occur due to “chance” (like Wes and Nany’s Jungle), it will not count.
  4. The Champs and All Stars spinoffs will be noted separately, but not counted as a formal appearance
  5. Bolded appearances in the finals indicate a win

ROOKIES

Berna Canbeldek

Berna competed on Survivor Turkey seasons 8, 9, and 12. These are the same seasons as Turbo, and she’s even had an argument with him. Odd that she’s appearing on the show without him, but she might be a tough competitor. She’s a boxer with a background in ballet.

Bettina Buchanan

Bettina comes to The Challenge to represent Sweden and all of its dating shows. She’s probably in the game to hook up and stir some drama. But who knows, she could be competitive?

Corey Lay

Apparently 12 Dates of Christmas is a thing, and Corey got his start on that show. While his background doesn’t scream “Challenge,” he does seem to be in shape and ready to compete. Plus, he’s representing the LGBTQ+ community. For the past two seasons, MTV just forgot gay men existed.

Emanuel Neagu

As the runner-up of Survivor Romania, Emanuel has proven he can hold his own in competitions. He knows Emy, and he certainly has a unique look. He’s going to stand out in the crowd, but his competition and strategic background might allow him to excel in the game.

Emy Alupei

Emy came in sixth on Survivor Romania. She’s a tough girl, a rapper, and proudly lives with her mother. Just like Emmanuel, she’s not the type to fade into the background. She’ll either be the first rookie gone or a competitor to watch out for.

Esther Agunbiade

Esther appeared on Big Brother Nigeria in 2019 along with Tacha. On this show, contestants are eliminated if the public doesn’t vote to save them. While Esther had fans at first, she was evicted during the ninth week. Esther is said to be sneaky and outspoken, and she had some drama with Tacha months before Spies, Lies, and Allies filmed.

Gabo Szabó

Gabo joins The Challenge from Hungary. He appeared on two seasons of Warsaw Shore, the Polish equivalent of Jersey Shore. So, he likes to party, hook up, and work out. It seems his physique is his biggest draw. Maybe he really is strong, or he might have some notorious “popcorn muscles.”

Hughie Maughan

Hughie is the runner-up on Big Brother UK 17 and the first person eliminated from the Irish version of Dancing With the Stars. He seems to be socially savvy, but he doesn’t appear to be the strongest competitor. Since doing The Challenge he opened an Only Fans account and got a “bum lift.”

Jeremiah White

Jeremiah also appeared on season 2 of Love Island USA. However, he never overlapped with Lauren because he was dumped a couple of days into the show. He’s athletic and describes himself as a flirt, so he’s probably on the show for the hook-up potential.

Kelz Dyke

Kelz is a London-born football player (American football, that is). He appeared on the Netflix series Too Hot to Handle, where no sexual contact was allowed. Now he doesn’t need to abstain and his experience in contact sports might make his a tough Challenge competitor.

Lauren Coogan

Lauren is a UK native who appeared on season 2 of Love Island USA. She spent a brief time in the villa, but was dumped after a few episodes. She might not have a strong athletic background, but she does have experience with the arts and theater. Perhaps she’s on the show for the dramatics?

Logan Sampedro

Logan is the runner-up on the thirteenth season of Survivor in Spain. He looks like Tarzan, has multi-colored eyes, and was once voted Mr. Spain. He seems to be a strong competitor and has the ability to polidick through the game if he’d like. Plus, he seems to be very active and into extreme sports. His hobbies could give him some Challenge cred.

Michaela Bradshaw

After seasons of hoping, Survivor fans are excited to finally see Michaela on the show. During her time on Survivor, she was recognized as a competition beast. On her first season, she was betrayed by Jay and voted out early into the game. The second time around she was more selective with her alliances, and made it to sixth place in the game.

Michele Fitzgerald

Michele is a Survivor winner, but she received some criticism for being an unworthy or boring winner. Determined to change her reputation, she went into Winners at War trying to play a bigger game and make some moves. She found herself on the outside of a big alliance, but managed to scrape by and get to the end. Ultimately, she came in third, but she has never been voted off Survivor.

Priscilla Anyabu

Priscilla is a model who appeared on Love Island UK season 6. She joined the season later, and was dumped on the final episode. However, she had a relationship with one of the contestants that lasted for over a year off camera. Maybe she’ll be more of an Ally than a Spy?

Renan Hellemans

Renan comes to The Challenge from Belgium and appeared on two seasons of Ex on the Beach: Double Dutch. Like many other rookies, he doesn’t have a lot of ties. He’s a gamer and streamer, so maybe his digital competitiveness will make him a reality show competitor.

Tacha Akida

Tacha is a massively popular Big Brother Nigeria contestant who almost made it to the end of the show. She’s fearless and outspoken, but she was disqualified from the competition when she got into a fight with Mercy (the season’s winner). While she’ll encourage a lot of fans to tune in to The Challenge, this environment might be unfamiliar to her.

Tommy Sheehan

Tommy is a Survivor winner who is noted for being socially skillful. He navigated his season with social bonds rather than hidden powers. This might make him a secret threat in the Challenge world, though he already have a reputation of being trustworthy. He was a teacher, after all.

Tracy Candela

Tracy is a competitor from Love Island Germany. She won the season, and she’s said to be competitive and outgoing. She seems to be coming into this game without many ties. This could help or hurt her.

Ed Eason

Ed competed on Netflix’s The Circle US season one. As part of a twist, he adopted a single persona with his mother. They didn’t last long, but that might not have been the right game for Ed. Off the show, he likes staying fit and riding motorcycles. Maybe his daredevil antics make him better suited for a Challenge.
