It looks like Johnny Bananas has a new gig, and it’s not on MTV.
Johnny has been selected to host the NBC show Celebrity Sleepover which will premier after SNL on April 3rd. As of now, the episode has only been picked up for a 4-episode run.
On the show, Bananas will host from his living room and interview Tiffani Thiesen, Sammy Hagar, Margaret Cho, and Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey. On the fourth episode, he will also be talking with the cast of Real World: New York/ Homecoming as well as cast members from The Challenge: All Stars
This is the second time Bananas has assumed hosting duties. He was the host of First Look, a show that also aired after SNL.
The show only has a short run, so it shouldn’t prevent him from competing on another season of The Challenge yet. However, he is getting a lot of hosting roles. His time on The Challenge might become a second priority.
Either way, this is big news for Mr. Bananas, and it’s great to see him giving a platform to the upcoming Challenge spin-off.
